      Salut thierry,

You can probably sell the vehicle in almost every country. The transaction has to be certified by a NOTARIO (which is fairly standard in South America) – in some cases the wording can be only that „you permit …name… [=the buyer] unlimited and unrestricted use of the vehicle in South America” – this paper is only for customs and police checks. You will not change the registration. You then write a second contract between buyer and vendor, transferring owner ship of the vehicle – this is in case the new owner would want to bring the camper back to Europe and change the registration into his/her name.
We sold our camper to a local in Chile (only country where this is really legal), Blogs of people who sold their cars to fellow travellers:

    Good luck!
